Dr. Andrew Igwe Honours Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Deputy Governor Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu for Outstanding Leadership

In a remarkable and historic event, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Dr. Andrew A. Igwe Care Foundation (DAAICF), Dr. Andrew Igwe, honoured the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, and the Deputy Governor of Rivers State and Grand Patron of the Foundation, Her Excellency Professor Ngozi Nma Odu, DSSRS, in recognition of their commitment, sacrifices, and dedication to maintaining peace and fostering development across the state.

The honour was bestowed as a mark of appreciation for the leadership qualities demonstrated by both leaders in promoting stability, unity, and an enabling environment for growth and progress in Rivers State.

According to Dr. Igwe, the consistent efforts of the Governor and his Deputy in ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for governance and development deserve recognition and encouragement.

He noted that true leadership is characterized by selfless service, love for the people, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of society. These qualities, he stated, have been evident in the administration and leadership style of both the Governor and the Deputy Governor.

“This is not merely a commendation of public office holders but a recognition of the values, character, and concern they have demonstrated toward the people of Rivers State. Their dedication to peace, development, and service reflects the qualities of great leadership and deserves to be celebrated,” Dr. Igwe remarked.

As part of the event, Dr. Igwe formally welcomed and honoured the Governor and Deputy Governor in Akabuka Community, describing them as deserving leaders whose contributions continue to positively impact the lives of Rivers people.

He further emphasized that the Dr. Andrew A. Igwe Care Foundation remains committed to recognizing and encouraging excellence, service, and positive contributions to society.

“We will continue to appreciate and celebrate good works wherever they are found because encouraging excellence and selfless service is part of what the Dr. Andrew A. Igwe Care Foundation stands for,” he added.
