DAAICF Participates in ONELGA Peace Day Celebration, Dr. Andrew Igwe Commended for Humanitarian Service

The Dr. Andrew A. Igwe Care Foundation (DAAICF) joined stakeholders, community leaders, and peace advocates in celebrating six years of peace and tranquility in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) during the commemoration of the 2024 International Day of Peace.

The event, held on September 21, 2024, was organized by the Ambassador Bright Abali Peace Foundation and brought together distinguished personalities from various sectors to reflect on the importance of peace, unity, and sustainable development within the local government area.

Representing the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DAAICF, Dr. Andrew Igwe, a delegation from the Foundation participated actively in the colourful and impactful event, reaffirming the Foundation's commitment to initiatives that promote peaceful coexistence and community development.

In his remarks, Ambassador Dr. Bright Abali paid glowing tribute to Dr. Andrew Igwe, describing him as one of the most impactful philanthropists in ONELGA.

He highlighted Dr. Igwe's long-standing commitment to humanitarian service, particularly his support for education and vulnerable members of society.

According to Ambassador Abali, Dr. Igwe has consistently used his personal resources to provide educational support to over 150 indigent students while also extending assistance to widows, orphans, and individuals with special needs within the community.

He commended Dr. Igwe's dedication to improving lives and promoting social welfare, noting that such efforts contribute significantly to peace, stability, and community development.

The event also featured cultural displays, goodwill messages, and musical performances aimed at promoting peace and unity among the people of ONELGA.

One of the highlights of the celebration was a performance by ONELGA-born music star, Mouth Worryz, who thrilled attendees with his song titled "Udo", a message-driven piece promoting peaceful coexistence and harmony among communities.

The Foundation expressed gratitude to the organizers for sustaining the culture of peace and dialogue within the area and reaffirmed its support for initiatives that foster development, education, and social cohesion.

DAAICF remains committed to serving humanity through impactful programmes that improve lives, strengthen communities, and contribute to a more peaceful society.

Congratulations to Dr. Andrew Igwe on this remarkable recognition, and we thank God for the grace to continue rendering service to humanity.
