DAAICF Empowers Aspiring Entrepreneur with Laundry Business Starter Pack

The message contained in this inspiring quote came to life on May 11, 2023, as the Dr. Andrew A. Igwe Care Foundation (DAAICF) empowered an aspiring entrepreneur with essential equipment to launch a laundry business.

As part of its commitment to supporting the less privileged and promoting self-reliance through entrepreneurship, the Foundation donated an AEON XPB100-962S 10KG Twin-Tub Washing Machine and a KENWOOD DIM40 Iron (1200W) to serve as a starter pack for the beneficiary’s laundry venture.

The empowerment initiative aligns with the Foundation’s mission of creating opportunities for young people to engage in meaningful and productive ventures that can improve their livelihoods and contribute positively to society.

The items were presented at the Foundation’s Secretariat by representatives of DAAICF led by Elder Enyioma Alfred Dick.

While handing over the equipment, Elder Enyioma encouraged the beneficiary to diligently manage the business and ensure that the items are used strictly for the purpose for which they were provided.

He urged the young entrepreneur to remain committed, hardworking, and focused on growing the business into a sustainable enterprise capable of expanding to multiple locations in the future.

Elder Enyioma further expressed optimism that more initiatives of this nature would help reduce youth involvement in crime and social vices by creating pathways to legitimate income generation and economic independence.

He also called on other well-meaning individuals and organizations to contribute their quota toward improving society by supporting youth empowerment and entrepreneurship.

Also speaking during the presentation, Mr. Silas Egbe encouraged the beneficiary to view the gift as a rare opportunity to build a better future and establish a foundation for long-term success.

Similarly, Comrade Felix Dimkpa commended the Foundation’s gesture and advised the beneficiary to count himself fortunate to have received such support. He emphasized the importance of prudence, discipline, and accountability in managing the business.

The event concluded with prayers led by Elder Enyioma Alfred Dick before the equipment was formally handed over.

The beneficiary expressed gratitude to the Foundation and assured members that he would make the most of the opportunity by working hard to grow the business and improve his life.

The empowerment initiative reflects the Foundation’s belief that meaningful support and opportunity can transform lives and inspire positive change within communities.
