DAAICF Brings Joy to Egi Widows of Hope Through Humanitarian Outreach

The Egi Widows of Hope experienced a moment of joy and encouragement on February 23, 2023, when representatives of the Dr. Andrew A. Igwe Care Foundation (DAAICF) paid a special visit to them at the Egi Women Development Centre, Oboburu Road, Akabuka Town, ONELGA, Rivers State.

The Foundation’s delegation included Elder Alfred Enyioma, Mr. Blessing Ogbugo, Mr. Rufus Nwoha, and Mr. Goodwill Omere, who represented the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Dr. Andrew A. Igwe.

Addressing the gathering after introducing members of the Foundation, Mr. Goodwill Omere encouraged the widows with a message drawn from 2 Kings 4:1–7, highlighting the story of the widow whose faith and obedience brought divine provision during a period of hardship.

He urged the women to remain steadfast in faith, trust in God’s provision, and continue believing that their circumstances could change for the better through perseverance and dependence on God.

Also speaking during the event, Elder Alfred Enyioma encouraged the widows to continue praying for peace, progress, and prosperity in the land. He emphasized the importance of maintaining hope and faith despite life’s challenges.

As part of the outreach, the Foundation presented 50 pieces of wrappers to members of the Egi Widows of Hope as a gesture of love, care, and support.

Receiving the gifts on behalf of the widows, the Convener of the group, Pastor Chukwubuzor Egba, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Foundation for its continued concern and generosity toward widows and vulnerable members of society.

He recalled the courtesy visit paid by the Egi Widows of Hope to Dr. Andrew Igwe on December 28, 2022, during which they expressed appreciation for the numerous humanitarian interventions of the Foundation.

Pastor Egba once again thanked the Founder and members of DAAICF for conceiving and sustaining such impactful initiatives. He described the outreach as a demonstration of genuine compassion and concern for the welfare of widows.

In appreciation, special prayers and anointing were offered for Dr. Andrew Igwe, members of the Foundation, and all those supporting the humanitarian mission of DAAICF. The prayer session was concluded by Rev. Orukworie, who prayed for God’s continued blessings, protection, and provision upon the Foundation.

The outreach served as another reminder of the Foundation’s commitment to touching lives and supporting vulnerable groups within society.

As always, DAAICF encourages everyone to contribute in whatever way they can to bring hope, comfort, and encouragement to others.
